Arrival around 19h we live in the alleys of the festival already crowded. Deep Purple
being scheduled at 21:50 it is clear that we are ahead, but we wait to music with the set of Kooks a young rock band, not great but it's better than nothing at all to wait.
Once their set ended we approach the stage for Deep Purple and there begins a true fighter's travels to clear a path. The concert has not even started that there are movements of the crowd.
Besides I stressed that I was shocked to see a woman about forty, and her teenage daughter, snuff in the moving crowd, shouting and crying for help. Some people are insane and do not understand that at a certain age, it is better to refrain from attending a rock concert in the front row in a crowd composed mostly of young people aged 15 to 30 years. Other things that surprised me or rather upset that these bands are rogues (not write a word prohibited since that famous October 2005) through the crowd looking for people to snowshoeing and when meeting the opposition, there were fist as was the case for a poor guy who has since the chopper is an ugly black eye coupled with a fracture nose.
But despite the uproar in the audience on stage to rock grandpas (average age 55 to 64) connects the songs with ease. However I would note that on most classic Ian Gillan tends to hurt, especially when it comes to passages where his voice should usually be high. As for Steve Morse if he struggles in almost certain to overshadow Ritchie Backmore rest and it provides really knows how to give life to both the older titles (Strange Kind Of Woman , Wring That Neck ...) as the latest titles as Arabist Rapture Of The Deep or sublime ballad Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming.
As a reminder, the group began Green Onions Booker T & the MG's (I think I was one of the few to recognize the title) to follow up with a convincing version of Hush n'émoustillera but not the public more than that. Singing only rarely "Na na na" in the chorus. By cons like a real game of question / answer which plays the audience and the band repeating the riff in the heart of Black Night that will end the festivities.
